Glorious Gragory Das

Glorious Gragory Das in been appointed as the CEO (Chief Executive Officer) of the World Concern Bangladesh Trust microcredit program from November 2023. Prior to this role, he was working with World Vision International for more than 14 years in different capacities in Bangladesh (including the Rohingya Crisis Response Program). He served in many different countries in Asia like in Mongolia as Integrated Program Director, in Jordan, Syria, Turkey as Program Lead, in East Asia Regional Office as interim MEAL Coordinator & in North Korea as Strategy & Program Development Lead. He is experienced in leading multi sectors Programs with a demonstrated history of working in the non-profit international organization management industry. He is also skilled in Nonprofit Organizations, Senior Leadership, Budgeting, Program Designing, Operations, Program Cycle Management, Program Effectiveness, Strategic Planning, Resource Mobilization (including bilateral & multilateral grants), Donor’s relationships, Partnering, Collaboration, and Public Speaking. He has a strong support academic background with a Master of Public Health (MPH) major in Epidemiology from the State University of Bangladesh after completing Medical Graduation (MBBS) from Sir Salimullah Medical College under Dhaka University. He has also obtained the Graduate Diploma on Transformational Development (GDTD) from Asia Graduate School of Theology (AGST) Alliance in Malaysia to understand and contribute to Christian Integral Mission and serve His people according to God’s purpose.

Ashis Sen

Ashis Sen, MCP Finance Coordinator of World Concern Bangladesh Trust from November 2013, is a finance professional within 24 years’ experience Financial Management and Administration, Internal Control, Risk Management and MRA rules and regulations. He contributed to micro credit operation policy for WCBT, implement of gBanker software system, trained staffs and played a critical role during the vacant position of the Head of Micro credit. Mr. Sen is one of the members of the Senior Leadership Team in WCBT who supports holistically in program and financial reporting, budgetary control, audit, implementation plan, ratio analysis etc. He also supports in arranging the smooth function of Council of Directors meetings and proceedings.

Prior to joining WCBT, Mr. Ashis Sen was working in HEED Bangladesh in several positions and lastly promoted as a Finance Coordinator of MCP in HEED. Even before, He worked for CARE Bangladesh and SARPV as a finance person. Mr. Sen holds a Masters in Accounting, Diploma in Microcredit, and completed the Chartered Accountant course form the Institute of Chartered Accountant Bangladesh.

Juliet Gomes

Juliet Gomes is one of the Senior Leadership Team members who obtained Master of Science from Dhaka University. She also accomplished her Master of Arts in Organizational Leadership (MAOL) from the Development of Alternatives (DAI), USA. She has also completed her LL.B. from Central Law College. She is also a graduate of Post Graduate Diploma in Personnel Management from Bangladesh Institute of Management (BIM). She joined World Concern Bangladesh Trust 10 years back as ‘Human Resources-cum-Administrative Manager’ then as ‘Human Resources Development-cum Administrative Coordinator’ from 17th June 2014 to till 30th September 2018. Thereafter she has been working as Human Resources Coordinator from October 2018 to till 30 March 2024 and FDCS Program In charge from September 2018 to April 2019. Presently she is working as Human Resources-cum-Administrative Coordinator in World Concern Bangladesh Trust.

Prior to the job in WCBT, she worked in HEED Bangladesh from July 1995 to October 2003 initially as ‘Student Assistance Program In charge’ and ‘Personnel Officer’ finally as ‘Human Resources Management Coordinator’. She worked in Caritas Bangladesh as ‘Program Officer (HR)’ then as ‘Coordinator (HR)’ from16 October 2003 to 30th September 2009. Then as ‘Deputy General Manager’ in BRAC under its Human Resources Division from 1st October 2009 to March 2010. Thereafter as ‘Deputy General Manager’ in Multimode Group under its Human Resources Department from 9th January 2011 to 31st December 2013.

Khursheda Begum

Mrs. Khursheda Begum started her career as a Field Officer of WSBAC (Women’s Small Business Assistance Center) project in urban area of World Concern Bangladesh Trust from July 01, 1995. Currently she serves as the Regional (Zonal) Manager of urban area to lead the urban microcredit program. Her overall portfolio is 350 million BDT and she supervises of Area Managers and Branch Managers in the current program structure. She has contributed in the change process to implement of gBanker software system, trained staffs and build the leadership of urban area for the implementation fidelity. Mrs. Begum as a member of Senior Leadership Team in WCBT serving a critical role in managing people, project and partners in Program implementation and supervision. She holds a Masters in Political Science and a seasoned micro credit professional trained from different national and international organizations.

Arup Biswas

Mr. Arup Biswas joined as an Account Assistant of WSBAC project in urban area of World Concern Bangladesh Trust from September 12, 2004. Currently he is as the Regional Manager of rural area to lead the rural program portfolios. His overall portfolio is 170 million BDT and he supervises the Branch Managers in current structure. He contributed significantly to implement the gBanker software system, trained staffs and lead the portfolio in rural area. Mr. Biswas serves a member of Senior Leadership Team in World Concern Bangladesh Trust for Program implementation and supervision. He hold on Masters in Accounting and Master of Arts in Organizational Leadership and several micro credit related training from different organization.
