Hasna Hena dreams to be an honest govt. officer

One of our Bangabandhu Scholarship students of MCP, Hasna Hena is a member of ‘Allor Dhara Society’ which is helps those who are poor and helpless. She lived with her five member family in Mirpur, Dhaka. Her mother’s name Nasima Begum, member code – 1544 is a member of ‘Komoli’ Mohila group of microcredit program. She has a sand and brick selling business. It is very difficult for her to run everything and educate her daughter in higher education. Nasima says I am a less educated person I too could not study much due to lack of money but I want my daughter will be highly educated and one day will do become a government employee.

For this reason, member’s daughter Hasna Hena applied to office for financial assistance to pursue her higher education. The office after going through all her study documents selected her for scholarship from July 2022 per month Tk. 3000/US$27. She completed her Honours in Zoology with CGPA 3.03 (Result Publication date: 09.08.2023.) She is studying in Masters final year. Since she got help from the World Concern Bangladesh Trust, she also help 10 students (Class – class-8) teaching free of charge so that they too can find their light in life. Hasna Hena expresses her happiness: “I am grateful to World Concern Bangladesh Trust and always ready to help WCBT in any work.”
